Box Score BROCKPORT, N.Y. – Sophomore goalkeeper Catherine Eliasson had a strong effort for The College at Brockport Women's Soccer team as it fell 2-0 to Buffalo State on the road in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game Friday evening.
Brockport (4-3-1, 0-1 SUNYAC) was outshot 21-9 while Eliasson made seven saves in the contest and gave up two goals.
The Golden Eagles fell behind 1-0 in the 15th minute when a loose ball was collected by a Bengals attacker and slipped inside the far post. Eliasson kept Brockport within striking distance with three saves.
Chelsea Stahl nearly put the Golden Eagles on the board in following the Buffalo goal but her shot was saved. Late in the second half Christina Leonardo sent the only other shot on net in the 86th minute.
