The Golden Eagles were quick to score two runs in the first frame.  Brianna Harris earned a leadoff walk and advanced to second on a lineout from Karleigh EatonDelaney Buckley drove in Harris on a single to left field.  Two straight walks put Buckley on third and a bases loaded ground out from Amanda Yuhas scored Buckley.

In the top of the second, Morgan Flamholtz flashed the leather at third base, making two plays to keep Edgewood scoreless despite having runners on second and third with one out.

Buckley led off the third inning with a single and would score on a double from Flamholtz to extend Brockport's lead to 3-0.  In the bottom of the fourth, a wild pitch scored Stephanie Scala and Harris scored on an error to cap up the 5-0 win.

Buckley led the Brockport offense in game one, going two-for-three at the plate with two runs batted in and two runs scored.
