ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The College at Brockport softball team swept No. 13 St. John Fisher College Wednesday afternoon behind Taylor Parlet's two home runs in game one, and Jaime Berger's ten strike outs in game two. The Golden Eagles improve to 12-8 on the season and snap a six game losing streak.
Game One – Brockport 10, St. John Fisher 7
Taylor Parlet drove in three runs in game one of the series with two home runs. The first came in the second inning with one runner one while the second was a solo shot in the seventh.
The Golden Eagles offense exploded for six runs in the fourth inning off of seven hits. Korey Kibling and Delaney Buckley each drove in one with singles. Lindsay Wachna drove in two with a single and Parlet drove in two more with a bases loaded single to give Brockport a commanding 8-0 lead.
Fisher responded with one run in the bottom of the fourth, three in the fifth and one in the sixth to cut Brockport's lead to 8-5. The Golden Eagles scored two in the top of the seventh off of Parlet's second home run and a RBI single from Wachna to jump out to a 10-5 lead.

Parlet finished game one four-for-four at the plate with five runs batted in. Buckley and Wachna each tabbed three hits. Kibling earned her second win of the season after striking out one and allowing 10 hits.
Game Two – Brockport 3, St. John Fisher 2
Brianna Harris led off the game with a single and would advance to second on a sacrifice bunt from Felicia Urbanczyk. With two outs and one runner in scoring position, Lindsay Wachna singled to center field to drive in Harris.
The Cardinals threatened in the bottom of the first with runners on first and second with one out but Jaime Berger struck out the side to end the inning.
Strong pitching from both sides would keep the battle going. Fisher scored two runs in the fourth on a Brockport throwing error with the bases loaded.
Brockport scored two runs in the top of the sixth to regain the lead. Delaney Buckley doubled to left center with one out. Pinch runner Shannon Allen would tie the game, scoring on a double to right center from Wachna. With two outs and Wachna on second, Shelby Perry reached on a throwing error by the first basemen and Wachna would score to take the 3-2 lead.
In the bottom of the sixth, Fisher threatened with two runners in scoring position and two outs but a fly out to left field would end the inning.
The Golden Eagles had a strong opportunity to extend their lead in the top of the seventh. Harris singled to center field and would advance to third on a single from Korey Kibling but a fly out would end the inning.
Berger got two quick outs to start the bottom of the seventh with a pop up and a strike out. The tying run would reach first on a single up the middle but wouldn't go anywhere as Berger struck out the final batter of the game.
Wachna finished game two a perfect three-for-three at the plate with two runs batted in. Harris and Kibling each tabbed two hits. Berger went the distance for her seventh win of the season. The senior struck out ten and allowed five hits and six walks.
The Golden Eagles will head to the north country this weekend for two SUNYAC doubleheaders. Brockport will face Plattsburgh Friday at 3 p.m. then head to Potsdam Saturday at noon.
