FREDONIA, N.Y. – The Brockport baseball team completed their second conference sweep of the season Sunday afternoon, taking down Fredonia by a final score of 10-2. Ben Moxley picked up the win for Brockport, his third of the season.
 
Dane Cala was nearly an impossible out for Brockport, collecting five hits in his six at bats while coming around to score three runs. Lou Miceli was also impressive at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI's.
 
This game was never in doubt for Brockport, as nine of their ten runs came in the first four innings. The top of the fourth is when they did the most damage, exploding for four runs on four hits. Three doubles in the inning from Cala, Paul Ludden, and Tom Kretzler forced a pitching change and all but sealed the deal.
 
Miceli, Kretzler, Avery Brooks, and Joe Bender all ended the day with two runs batted in apiece, while Cala and Ludden both accounted for one. All ten of Brockport's runs were earned, as the team exploded for nineteen hits in the nine inning game.
 
On the mound, Moxley allowed just two runs on eight hits in his 6.1 innings of work, putting him in great position to earn the win. Noah Dilbone and Dave Sicina split the final 2.2 innings, holding the Blue Devils hitless.
 
The team is scheduled to play four home games this week, beginning with RIT on Wednesday before their final conference series against New Paltz over the weekend.
