PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The College at Brockport men's lacrosse team dropped a tough matchup against St. John Fisher College Tuesday afternoon by a final score of 7-4. The Golden Eagles fall to 2-3 in 2018, where the Cardinals move to 4-1.
Brockport started hot in the opening quarter taking a two-goal advantage over Fisher.
Corey Choberka was the first to cash-in for the Green and Gold, after a Cardinal's turnover. The lead was doubled 50 seconds later when
Jake Recor slotted his shot past the visiting goalie, to take a 2-0 lead. Brockport kept the pressure up, but stumbled late in the first quarter as the Cardinals scored twice to even the score heading into the next frame.
The Golden Eagles fell behind 4-2 as Fisher tallied a pair of goals early in the second quarter. Brockport went toe-to-toe with the Cardinals for the remainder of the quarter and found some luck late, as
