BROCKPORT, NY -- The College at Brockport wrestling team dominated the entire dual as the Golden Eagles did not surrender a single point in a 50-0 victory over visiting Penn State Behrend on Friday night.  The contest was the opening dual of the season for both teams and Brockport returns to the mat on Saturday as it hosts the Brockport Open at the SERC.

Brockport improved to 1-0 on the season and 50^th year Head Coach Don Murray picked up his 352nd career victory. Coach Murray is the longest tenured head coach in all of NCAA Div. III athletics.

Brockport's Matt Caccamise, who made a trip to NCAA's last winter, kicked off the day with a technical fall victory (21-5) over PSB's Michael Binni at the 125 pound weight class.  Caccasmise's dominance pushed Brockport out to an early 5-0 lead.

John Cantwell and Austin Sergeant each earned forfeit victories for the Golden Eagles at the 133 and 141 pound weight class to hand the Golden Eagles a 17-0 lead.

Wesley Woodworth then earned an 8-6 sudden victory at 149, before Zack Brown chipped in with a 7-1 decision over PSB's Jimmy Kramer at 157.

Matthew Kline followed with an 8-1 win for Brockport at 165, while Chris Eames pinned Tyler Speraw at 6:16 to earn six team points for the home team. Joe Yanis added a quick pin against Brandon Miller (fall - 1:30) at 184, before Kyler Martin pinned Brian Himes at 11:40 in the 197 weight class.

Richard Knapp wrapped up the afternoon in quick fashion as he pinned Jutin Chaudhary in just 15 seconds in the 285 weight class to cap the team scoring at 50-0.

The last time Brockport shut out its opponent was Jan. 22^nd of last season as the Golden Eagles topped Pitt. Bradford 50-0.
