LEWISBURG, PA. – The College at Brockport men's and women's track and field teams competed Sunday in day two of the Bucknell Outdoor Invitational where they went toe-to-toe with a number of Division I programs. The Golden Eagles had athletes compete in a number of events including the 100, 200 and 400-meter sprints, high jump, shot put, long jump and more.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
Men
Track-
- The men's 4x100 relay team of Devin Pravetz, Olivier Kothor, Devon Legrair, and Matthew Killian grabbed an eighth-place finish in the event, clocking in at 42.94.
- Brandon Leiter and Michael Panzarino grabbed top 20 finishes in the 110m hurdles; Leiter leading the way in 18th with a time of 15.78 and Panzarino in 20th at 15.92.
- Kothor continued his efforts into the 100m sprints where he placed 13th with a time of 11.16. The sophomore closed out his final event of the day in the 200m where he grabbed 26th with a time of 22.74.
Field-
- Anthony DeYoung and Art Jordan shined in the men's shot put putting up 12th and 23rd place finishes respectively. DeYoung was marked at 15.32m and Jordan at 14.22.
- Leiter posted his best finish of the afternoon in the long jump, where he notched 15th with a mark of 6.38m. Taj Shaw competed in the event as well, posting 23rd with a mark of 6.09m.
- Joe Weaver nailed the strongest finish of the day for both teams in the pole vault. The freshman posted a second-place finish with a mark of 4.95m. His finish not only ties him for the second best mark in program history but also ranks him third in the nation in DIII in the event.
- Johnathon Fleming and Gunner Rapone closed thing out in the hammer throw, grabbing 21st and 25th. Fleming was marked at 51.59m and Rapone was marked at 49.26m.
Women
Track-
- Brianna Lawless held her own in the women's 400m sprints, placing 21st overall with a time of 59.89.
- The duo of Satin Holmes and Molly Scarpello had a strong performance in the 100m sprints; Holmes finishing 20th overall with a time of 12.73 followed by Scarpello in 26th with a time of 12.84.
- Lawless (26.37), Holmes (26.45), and Scarpello (26.57) found success in the 200m as well, finishing 15th, 19th, and 25th respectively.
Field-
- Jessica Craven picked up another strong finish on the weekend in the shot put where she was marked at 12.07m putting her 18th overall.
- Lisa Huynh found strength in day two as well, with a 15th place finish in the long jump marked at 5.12m.

The Golden Eagles are headed to SUNY Cortland next Saturday, April 20 for the Cortland Classic starting at 10 a.m.
