BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport men's lacrosse defeated Plattsburgh State Saturday afternoon in their last contest of 2019, by a score of 7-2. With the win, the Golden Eagles finish the season with a final record of 6-8 overall and 1-5 in conference, while the Cardinals drop to 7-8 and 4-2 in State University of New York Athletic Conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED –
- The Golden Eagles jumped out to an early two-goal lead as they scored the only goals of the first quarter.
- Corey Choberka got the Green and Gold started, followed by a Billy Coppola missile that beat the oppositions netminder.
- Plattsburgh brought the game within one to started the second quarter.
- Coppola extended the Golden Eagles lead, scoring his second of the day with eight minutes remaining in the half.
- Brockport entered the half-time break with a 3-1 lead.
- Coppola extended the Brockport lead once more in the third quarter, burying his third of the day off a feed from Choberka.
- Plattsburgh narrowed the Golden Eagles lead with 6:10 remaining in the frame but Brendan Halleran ripped one past the Plattsburgh keeper with a minute remaining in quarter to push the Brockport lead.
- Brockport scored the only goals of the fourth quarter as Choberka netted his second of the day, while Coppola buried his fourth.
