SWARTHMORE, PA – The College at Brockport men's and women's track and field teams sent a handful of their distance runners to the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet for a final run before the NCAA Regional Competition this upcoming weekend.
HOW IT HAPPENED –
Men
Track-
- Andrew Davis was the solo competitor for the men in the 3000m steeplechase, notching an 11th place time of 9:19.68. The seniors time moves him past his previously held spot in the Brockport record book, allowing him to maintain the second fastest finish.
Women
Track-
- Allison Miller represented the Golden Eagles in the 3000m steeplechase, grabbing fourth place overall with a time of 10:55.60. The juniors finish allows her to command the Brockport record books in the event, holding four of the top five finishes.
- Krista Kicsak finished with a time of 18:27.69 in the women's 5000m run, a personal record time for her in the event this season.
UP NEXT –
The Golden Eagles will head to SUNY Cortland this Thursday and Friday for the NCAA Regional Competition. Thursday's events will start at 12 p.m. and Friday's events will start at 10 a.m.
