Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport women's soccer team will finish up a four-game road trip this Saturday, traveling to Juniata College. The match will kick-off at 2 pm.
Last Time Out: The Green and Gold defeated SUNY Canton over the weekend, 2-0, improving to 3-3-1 on the season. The team was dominant, outshooting Canton 31-0 in the road victory.

Morgan Lupo got the win in net, as Brockport shutout the Roos.
Defensive Players of the Week: Freshman goalkeeper
Kayla Usborne was named the PrestoSports Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. This marks the second straight week that a Golden Eagle goalie has earned that honor, as Lupo won the award last week. Usborne got her first career start in her collegiate debut, keeping the Alfred Saxons from scoring in a 0-0 tie. She made seven saves in the contest, including a stop late in the second overtime period.
Led by Longin: Kiley Longin is having a solid beginning to her freshman campaign, as she currently leads the team in points and assists. She has registered two goals, three assists, and seven points so far this season. Longin ranks third in the SUNYAC conference in assists and seventh in total points.
Scouting Juniata: The Juniata College Eagles are currently 1-3-2 on the season after recently falling to Penn St. Altoona, 3-1, on Wednesday. The team has now lost two of its last three contests. The Eagles have registered five goals on the year, from five different scorers. Senior Brooke Rotheram leads the way with five total team points, coming from one goal and a team-high three assists. Freshman goalkeeper Cati Besch has made 29 saves in net so far and has recorded one shutout.
Brief History: This will be just the second time in the last 30 years that these two teams will play each other. The previous meeting between Brockport and Juniata resulted in a 1-0 win for the Golden Eagles, in the first game of the 2007 season.
Looking Ahead: The College at Brockport will finally return to its home field next weekend, to host a pair of SUNYAC contests. Cortland comes to town for a 4 pm start on Friday, Sept. 27
th, while Oswego will be played on Saturday, Sept. 28
th at 1 pm.
