Brockport, NY – The College at Brockport men's soccer team took care of business at home Friday with a dominating, 5-1, win over Clarkson University. Five different players scored in the match, as the team improves to 2-1 on the season.

In the 14th minute, senior defender Michael Meyers put the Golden Eagles on the board for an early 1-0 lead. Meyers' goal was the first of his collegiate career.

DJ Taylor also got in on the action, putting Brockport up 2-0 halfway through the first half, with an assistant coming from teammate Chris Kinsley. In the 31st minute Nikolas Sgaraglio found Zach Langelotti who put one past the keeper to secure the Green and Gold a 3-0 halftime lead.

It did not take long for the Golden Eagles to continue the offensive production once the second half got started. Less than three minutes into the final half of play, Jeff Hibbard buried a penalty kick to put Brockport up 4-0.

A penalty kick attempt for Clarkson put them on the board, as Erick Naula scored to make the Golden Eagle lead 4-1. Another penalty kick was awarded to the Green and Gold, this time Matthew Stefaniw did the honor. Stefaniw blasted his shot by Clarkson's goalkeeper, giving his team the final 5-1 advantage.
