Buffalo, NY - The SUNY Brockport swim and dive team competed on Day one of the SUNYAC Championships on Wednesday.
The squad of
Hailey Rossi,
Sawyer Parker,
Kaitlin Dunning, and
Nicole Orcutt swam a time of 7:57.39 in the women's 800-freestyle relay. The team took third in the event finals and set a new school record for the competition.
The trio of Mark Eaton, Kurt Mueller, and Randy Beach finished fourth/fifth/sixth in the 3-meter diving finals. Eaton led the way with a score of 438.75.
Mueller earned 412.30 points, while Beach had a score of 407.15.
In the men's 800-meter freestyle relay finals the team of Tyler Hyde, Rainer Grimme, Zackery Kime, and Jerome Gordon clocked in at 7:40.23. This finals time cut off 20 seconds from the seeding time of 8:00.74.
The Golden Eagles are back to work tomorrow for day two of the SUNYAC Championships. Events begin at 10 am.
