Former Brockport stand-outs Peter DiLorenzo (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville), Joe Marino (McQuaid/Rochester, NY) and Bobby Ross (Grand Island/Grand Island, NY) were named to the SUNYAC Men's Soccer All-Decade Team in a release by the conference office on Friday.
Over the course of the decade the Golden Eagles have posted 106 victories under the guidance of legendary Head Coach
Gary LaPietra. They have made the SUNYAC Conference Tournament in nine of 10 seasons and they have two SUNYAC titles to their credit in the the 10-year stretch. They have made the NCAA Tournament four times in the last ten years and they have posted 10+ wins in seven of the last 10 seasons. Brockport has appeared in the SUNYAC Championship game five times this decade.Â

Peter DiLorenzo was a forward for Brockport from 2012-2015. He was a 2015 NSCAA Second Team All-American and an NSCAA All-Region First Team pick in 2014 and 2015. He scored 13 goals and added two assists in 2015 on his way to earning SUNYAC Offensive Player of the Year honors. He was also a three-time SUNYAC All-Conference First Team selection in 2013, 2014 and 2015. His 41 career goals and 90 career points rank second all-time at Brockport. He guided Brockport to 41 victories over the course of four years and he posted 13 or more goals in each of his final three seasons. He paced the Golden Eagles to a SUNYAC Tournament appearance in each of his four years, including an NCAA bid in 2014. He also guided the green and gold to a SUNYAC Championship game appearance in his senior campaign.
Marino played in goal for two seasons (2009-2010) for Brockport and was named an NSCAA All-American third team selection following his senior campaign. He was also an NSCAA All-Region Second Team selection in 2010 and he was named the SUNYAC MVP (Huntley Parker Award) in 2010. Marino was also a two-time SUNYAC All-Conference First Team selection in 2009 and 2010. He is also the school record holder with 11 shutouts in a single season (2010). At one point in his final season he posted a school-record seven straight shutouts. In 2010 he helped guide the Golden Eagles to a 14-3-3 overall record and an appearance in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. In 2009, he helped Brockport win the SUNYAC Championship on penalty kicks after a 0-0 OT tie against Plattsburgh. That same season he guided the Golden Eagles to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.Â

Bobby Ross was a defender for the Golden Eagles from 2010-2013. He was a four-time SUNYAC All-Conference selection during his time in the green and gold. He was an all-conference first team selection in 2011, 2012 and 2013. In 2010 he was named the SUNYAC Rookie of The Year and he was also a two-time all-region selection in 2012 and 2013. He guided Brockport to 46 wins in four seasons, including two straight trips to the NCAA Tournament second round in 2010 and 2011. In his freshman season he helped Brockport earn the SUNYAC title.Â
