Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's swim and dive team fell at home in a dual meet against Oneonta. The team lost 98.5-195.5, moving to 1-2 on the season.
Oliver Dragojevic took first place in the 100 and 200-yard breaststroke events with times of 1:03.14 and 2:22.23 respectively.
Mark Eaton and
Kurt Mueller went first/second in the 3-meter diving event with scores of 257.10 and 200.25. Eaton also won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 270.67.
The 200-yard medley relay team of
Michael Dormond,
Oliver Dragojevic,
Matthew Chan, and
Ryan Sampson placed second in the event.
Billy Tolpa,
Mark Eaton,
Ryan Sampson, and
Oliver Dragojevic teamed up for a second-place time of 1:35.87 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
Cody Conte earned second place in both the 1,000 and 500-yard freestyle events individually.
Matthew Chan was second with a time of 2:17.51 in the 200-yard butterfly and earned third place in the 200-yard backstroke.
Billy Tolpa tied for second place in the 50-yard freestyle and was third in the 100-yard butterfly. Teammate
Gavin Stone took third in the 200-yard freestyle, while
Kevin Kantar competed in the 100-yard backstroke to place third.
The Golden Eagles now prepare for a trip to Monroe Community College next weekend on November 6
th. The meet is scheduled to begin at 1 pm on Saturday in Rochester, NY.
