Geneseo, NY- The SUNY Brockport men's and women's track and field teams completed the final day of the Roundtable Invitational on Saturday. No team score was kept, but several Golden Eagles had strong days.

Along with Brockport and Geneseo the meet also featured the University of Rochester, Nazareth, St. John Fisher, Fredonia, Rochester Institute of Technology and Division I SUNY University of Buffalo.

Today in the field category it was primarily the women with the top performances. The best event for the team came in the hammer throw event as Sarah Crockett (47.24m) and Olivia George (45.43m) managed to pick up first and second place finishes. Alayna Fredenburg also got in on the action with fourth-place throw of 42.99m.

Crockett managed to pick up a second-place finish in the shot put as well with a distance of 13.38m. Fredenburg was able to secure third in the event behind her teammate as she recorded a throw of 11.16m.

Fredenburg completed her day by claiming second in the javelin throw with 37.60m.
Jack Brundage picked up a third-place finish on the men's side of the event with a throw of 45.92m. To round out the women's field events, Emma Kinnicutt gave the Golden Eagles a top five finish by placing third in the discus with a mark of 36.31m.

On the track side of events
Marius Sidlauskas (4:03.92 second) took home fifth place in the men's 1500m. Teammate
Humberto Wallace Jr. (4:05.98) finished right behind him in the event. For the women, Rose Pitman ran her way to a fourth-place finish with a time of 5:01.21 in the 1500m.

The Golden Eagles will send a few members of their team to Roberts Wesleyan College on Friday April 16
th at 4pm for the Red Hawks Invitational. The Golden Eagles will also be home next weekend for the Brockport Multi-Invitational. Day one kicks off Sunday April 18
th at 10am at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium with day two starting Monday at 12pm.
