Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's tennis team hosted Geneseo on Monday for some SUNYAC action. The Green and Gold had a tough outing, losing 8-1.
Caroline Stewart found success in the first singles slot, winning her matchup in two sets 6-2, 6-3. Stewart's win would score the only point of the day for Brockport. Geneseo earned two match points uncontested in the third doubles and sixth singles spots.
The Golden Eagles are now 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the SUNYAC after the loss. Geneseo improved to 2-2 overall and 2-2 in conference.
Brockport is back in action on Saturday, as the squad travels to take on Oswego for more conference action. The match is set to begin at 3 pm.
