The SUNY Brockport baseball team lost a pair of tight contests on the road at SUNYAC West rival Oswego State on Saturday afternoon. Oswego scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning to take game one, 14-13. The Lakers then broke a 1-1 tie with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take game two, 7-2.
Tom Kretzler hit his team-high seventh home run of the season in game two and he has now tied the program's all-time record with 20 career home runs.
Brockport snapped a 10 game winning streak and saw its overall record move to 13-4 on the season. The Golden Eagles are also 7-3 in SUNYAC play and they will return to action at home on April 28
th when they take on University of Rochester in non-conference action at home (1 p.m.).
Oswego has now won 12 in a row and is 13-1 overall on the season. Their lone loss of the year came against Brockport back on April 3
rd. The Lakers improved their SUNYAC West record to 9-1 and now have a stronghold atop the conference standings.

Jake Sisto went 4-for-7 with five RBI's and three runs scored over the course of the doubleheader. He had two home runs and a two-RBI single in the game one thriller.
Daniel DelGaizo went 4-for-9 with three RBI's and two runs scored on the day. He hit a three RBI home run in game one for the Golden Eagles. Shortstop
Justin Pangburn went 2-for-6 with four RBI's and one run scored. Pangburn also hit a game-one three-run home run for the Golden Eagles.
Brockport scored 13 runs on 17 hits in game one.
Trevor McCarthy relived starter
Andrew Huffman in game one and went 3.2 innings while striking out six batters.
Tom Kretzler got the game two start and went 5.1 innings while striking out three. He held the Laker offense at bay for five full innings until allowing the game-winning flurry in the sixth.
