Four members of the SUNY Brockport outdoor track & field team have qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by North Carolina A&T State University at Irwin Belk Track in Greensboro, North Carolina from May 27-May 29.  On the men's side, Tony DeYoung qualified in the shot put and Egypt Page qualified in the long jump.  For the women's team, Sarah Crockett qualified in the shot put and Alayna Fredenburg will compete in the hammer throw. 

Egypt Page will compete on Thursday at 2pm.  Sarah Crockett competes on Saturday at 10:30am, while Tony DeYoung and Alayna Fredenburg will compete on Saturday at 2pm.  

DeYoung heads to nationals ranked 10^th nationally in the shot put event.  He is now a three-time national qualifier after qualifying for indoor nationals twice in the event in 2019 and 2020.  He placed 15^th at the 2019 indoor nationals and was named an All-American after qualifying as the No. 1 seed in the country in the COVID-shortened 2020 indoor season. He is a seven-time SUNYAC Champion and All-Conference First Team selection in the shot put and discus.  Most recently, he placed second at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships with a throw of 16.39m.  His top mark of the outdoor season came on May 14^th when he won the shot put with a throw of 16.75m at the Redhawk Capstone Meet. 

Egypt Page qualified for nationals as the No. 4 ranked long jumper in the country after placing second at the AARTFC Outdoor Championships last week with a leap of 7.40m.  Page has now qualified for nationals three times in his career. He was named an All-American in the COVID-shortened 2020 indoor season as the second-ranked long jumper in the country. He is now a three-time SUNYAC Champion in the long jump and he is making his second straight appearance at outdoor nationals after placing 14^th back in 2019. 

Sarah Crockett has qualified for nationals for the second time in her career. She is currently ranked 15^th nationally in the shot put after posting a personal-best throw of 13.75m in the event at the Redhawk Capstone Meet on May 14^th.  Most recently, she won her second career AARTFC title with a throw of 13.13m at regionals last Thursday.  She is a two-time SUNYAC Champion in the shot put. 

Alayna Fredenburg is making her first career appearance at nationals after qualifying as the 17^th ranked thrower in the hammer with a career-best toss of 52.46m back on May 1^st.  She is a three-time SUNYAC Champion in the hammer, javelin and weight throw. In her most recent appearance at the AARTFC Championships she placed third in the javelin throw (38.67m) and sixth in the hammer (46.55m). She won both the hammer and javelin at this year's outdoor SUNYAC Championships.  She posted eight first place finishes this outdoor season, six in the javelin and two in the hammer. 

The Brockport men recently won their second straight AARTFC Outdoor title after scoring 84 team points at the event hosted by St. John Fisher College last week.  37 of their 84 points came in the shot put, discus and hammer.
