Golden Eagles Back at The Vlog for Rematch With Cortland

Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's basketball team is at home on Tuesday for some SUNYAC action. Brockport will take on the Cortland Red Dragons who are sporting a 10-2 record overall and are 6-0 in the conference. Tip-off is set for 2 pm at The Vlog.

Another Close One: The Golden Eagles came up just short against the Geneseo Knights on the road last time out. After fighting all game for a shot to tie in the final moments, a missed 3-pointer resulted in a 52-49 Geneseo win. The Green and Gold has now lost two close games in a row, both decided by five points or less.

Rosbrook's Big Night: In the recent loss to Geneseo Kylee Rosbrook had her best outing of the season with 20 points and 17 rebounds. The big double-double performance was reminiscent of her incredible 24-point, 21-rebound performance during the 2019-20 season. Her 21 boards in that contest ranks fourth all-time for rebounds in a single game.

Home Sweet Home: The Golden Eagles are back on their home floor for a big rematch against Cortland. They have played well so far this season at The Vlog, owning a mark of 5-2 at home.

Nolan Still Rollin: Erin Nolan finished with 11 points against Geneseo, extending her streak to four straight games with at least 10 points. On the season she is averaging 9.2 points a game and 5.1 rebounds a game while shooting 50% from the field and 83.3% at the foul line.

Looking for Revenge: Brockport lost to Cortland on the road earlier this season, 52-82, and looks to return the favor on Tuesday. Rosbrook had a solid scoring night with 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting. However, it was Cortland's night as the team had four double-digit scorers. #12 Casey Travers led the Red Dragons with 15 points.

Notes on Cortand: The Red Dragons are currently on top of the SUNYAC standings at 10-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference. They have won nine in a row heading into Tuesday afternoon's matchup with Brockport. Prior to the weekend Cortland won games against Plattsburgh and Potsdam. #22 Maggie Malone and #31 Nyla Longford are each scoring 11 points a game.

Up Next: The Golden Eagles are on the road for a pair of games this weekend. They travel to take on New Paltz at 5:30 pm on Friday and Oneonta at 2 pm on Saturday.
