Pittsford, NY- The SUNY Brockport Swimming and Diving team traveled to Nazareth College to compete on Saturday, October 29
th. The Men's team fell to the Golden Flyers 115-112 while the Women fell 153-84.
The Women were off to a hot start with a first-place finish by
Nicole Orcutt in the 800-meter freestyle. Orcutt battled the whole 800 and touched the pads .23 milliseconds before Nazareth's Caroline Coleman, with a time of 10:06.07.
Emily Lefrois-Heath dominated the 200-meter freestyle. With a 2:14.72 Lefrois-Heath beat the second-place finisher by over five seconds.
Jace Frederickson also held it down in the 200-meter freestyle, coming in first place with a time of 2:08.38. Teammate Luca Olivieri dominated in the 200-meter Individual Medley touching the pads at a 2:19.98, eight seconds before a second-place finish from Nazareth.
Caroline Rossi placed third on the 1-meter with a score of 173.64 and third again on the 3-meter with a score of 156.90. Kurt Mueller placed first for both events. On the 1-meter Mueller scored 243.45, and on the 3-meter 207.60. Ren Watson placed second on the 1-meter with a score of 216.38 and 201.08 on the 3-meter.
The Ladies were back at it with another first-place finish from Senior Captain
Sawyer Parker in the 100-meter freestyle, touching the pads with a 1:03.34.
Johannes Ginder pulled out a second place finished for the Green and Gold in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 59.60.
Freshman
Miya Vitale crushed the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:08.97 followed by another first-place finish in the 100-meter back from Jace Frederickson (1:06.04).
Orcutt won another distance race, the 400-meter. She touched the pads with a 4:54.89.
Oliver Dragojevic placed first in the 100-breastroke with a time of 1:10.55.
The Women placed second in the 200-meter freestyle relay with a time of 1:56.34. The team was made up of
Sawyer Parker,
Emily Lefrois-Heath,
Alexa Callaghan and
Nicole Orcutt.
The Men were neck and neck going into the 200-Meter freestyle and just missed the first-place finish and the meet with a .35 milisecond difference. The team of Garrett Nanna, Johannes Ginder, Gavin Stone and Joe Keeney touched the pads at 1:46.37.

th to compete against the Red Dragons in Oneonta New York at 1pm.
