Binghamton, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's tennis team faced the Red Dragons of Oneonta on Friday at the Lane Tennis Center for another SUNYAC battle. The Golden Eagles fell short, dropping a 7-2 decision to the Red Dragons.

Eliza Gonzalez continues a strong season, winning one of Brockport's points in the first singles match in two sets (6-3, 6-4).
Gonzalez would again factor into the scoring, teaming up with freshman
Olivia Raschiatore for the second match in a row. The duo would win the first doubles match in dramatic fashion, taking the tiebreaker 7-3, to win the match point by a score of 8-7.
The Golden Eagles now sit at 2-7 overall, and 2-4 in SUNYAC play. The team returns to action on Saturday, as Brockport clashes with New Platz at 3pm to end the fall season of play.
