Brockport, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected  Art Jordan of Brockport as the PrestoSports Men's Indoor Field Athletes of the Week.
 
Jordan set a new personal record in the men's shot put at this weekend's RIT Meet, when the senior thrower won the men's shot put with a huge personal best distance of 16.61 meters. His distance ranks fourth all-time in Brockport's indoor record book and is currently the fifth best throw in the nation this season.
 
Jordan and the rest of the Golden Eagles will look to put the finishing touches on their regular season as they travel to the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up hosted by Nazareth College on Friday, February 18th at 3:30 pm. This will be the last meet prior to the SUNYAC Indoor Championship that those on the edge will look to qualify for a spot to compete at the Conference Championship hosted by SUNY Brockport on Friday and Saturday February, 25th and 26th.
