Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's and women's indoor track and field team hosted the second day of the Brockport Multi.
The Brockport women's indoor team won the overall team meet scoring a combined 146.5 points in the meet. The women earned big points in the 4x400, 800m and 60m hurdles scoring a combined 41 points on the track from those events with a combined 62 points on the track. In the field the women earned a total 86 points as they earned a total 27 points in the weight throw. The teams overall best event.
The men's indoor team also won todays overall team meet scoring a combined 153.5 points. The throwers earned the team a combined 43 points with the men's 3000m earning 18 along with the 60d dash participants for brockport

Heading into today, Madison Baker was in second place in the women's pentathlon with a score of 2340 after placing second in the 800m and Long Jump, third in the 60m hurdles and fifth in the shot put. She posted a PR in the shot put (7.93m) and the long jump (4.54m).
Brockport's Hunter Czajkowski finished in seventh out of 10 competitors with a score of 1677. She PR'ed in the 60m hurdles (11.86) and the long jump (3.88m). Freshman Michelle Russotti placed eighth with a score of 1576. She PR'ed in the 60m hurdles (13.00) and the shot put (10.10m).
Carson Swierski sits in second place after day one of the men's heptathlon with a score of 2280. He won one of the four events on Friday night and placed second in two of the four. He set personal best marks in all four of the events he competed in: 60-meter dash (7.95), long jump (5.82m), shot put (10.76m), and high jump (1.80m). on Saturday, Swierski placed fourth in the 60m Hurdle (10.02), third in the pole vault (2.81) and fourth in the 1000m to earn himself second in the event with a total of 3572.

Brockport's Gaberiel Winters-Bona placed third in the men's 5000m with a time of 16:46.17
3000
In the men's 3000m, the Golden Eagles took the top two spots with Paul Suflita taking home second in a time of 9:00.22 and Thomas Kressley earning first place with a time of 8:57.83.
Mile
Veronica Dailey placed second in the women's mile in a time of 5:23.69 as
Cristian Zabala finished in sixth place in the men's heat in the time of 4:44.39.
800m
Kalyee Haynes, Lucia Sibley and Emma Mathes all placed in the top five in the women's 800m. Haynes earned first In the race with a time of 2:26.15 with Sibley trailing right behind her with a time of 2:26.25. finishing in fourth place, Mathes ran the race in a time of 2:30.70. for the men, freshman Jonathon Zavala PR'ed in the 800m finishing first place in the race in under two minutes for a time of 1:57.40.
400m
Junior Jenifer Metz ran the women's 400m in a time of 1:03.80 resulting in a fifth place finish.
200m
Sarah Levine earned a fourth place finish after tying her PR finishing in a time 26.80s
60m Hurdles
Senior Kelsie Naldrett claimed second place in the women's 60m hurdles in a time of 9.63s
60m
In the Women's 60m dash, Sarah Levine broke her Personal Record twice. Originally set at 8.12s, Levine qualified in the first round of the dash in a time of 7.99s. claiming third place in the finals, Levine PR'ed again, this time in a time of 7.91s.
Olivier Kothor took home first place in the men's 60m dash in a time of 6.96s with teammate
Devin Kipp following him in second place with a time of 7.11s
Field Events
Shot Put
Reigning defending three time SUNYAC Prestosports Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Sarah Crockett yet again won the women's shot put after throwing for a distance of 13.03m. teammate Ellie Ramirez placed second in the event with a throw of 11.89m.
Art Jordan earned first place in the men's shot put throwing for 15.70m.
Alex Rood took home fourth place in the event with a toss of 15.18 and rounding out the top five for Brockport was
Elijah Washington who threw for a distance of 14.98m.
Weight Throw
Sarah Crockett also earned first place in the shot put throwing for a distance of 15.54m with Alayna Fredenburg earning second in the event with a distance of 15.25m. Ellie Ramirez claimed fourth with a throw of 14.11m and Emma Kinnicutt fifth with a throw of 13.67m.
Three Golden Eagles placed within the top five in the men's weight throw.
Elijah Washington was the team's best thrower today throwing a distance of 16.16m. Matt Faulice finished in second with a throw of 15.97m and
Connor Ferris in third with a throw of 15.08m. In total the men combined for 19 points towards the team's score.
Pole Vault
Two Golden Eagles finished in the top five in the women's pole vaulting event. Tess Eichner took fourth place in the event clearing a height of 2.90m with Mya Henry Clearing the same height for a fifth place finish. Zach Smith earned third place in the pole vault as he cleared a height of 3.95m.
High Jump
Halle King and Michaela Levesque both placed in the top three in the women's high jump. Levesque PR'ed with a height of 1.68m putting her tied for second place all time on the women's indoor high jump record book at SUNY Brockport with Brockport Athletics Hall of Famer Lisa Taylor. The current record is held by Tara Phouthavongsa who set the record back in 2007 clearing a height of 1.70m. King managed to earn herself a clearance of 1.59m to claim third place in the event.
Long Jump:
2021 Outdoor Track and Field National Long Jump Champion Egypt page placed first in the long jump with a leap of 7.20m. Josh Jeziorski was able to take home second place in the event after jumping for a distance of 6.99m.
The indoor track and field team will split up and travel to separate meets. Part of the team will travel to compete at RIT with other traveling to Boston, MA to compete in the two day Boston University Valentine Invite on Friday, February 11th & 12th.
