Ithaca Recap

Batting Highlights
Tom Kretzler went 3-4 against the Bombers to cap off his great day of play. Making a rare starting appearance at second base, Kretzler drove in three-run in the game. Zach Eldred kept his bat hot as well going 2-4 with one run and two RBIs including a triple. Jake Sisto would also drive in two RBIs along with recording a double while Jason Mansell recorded one RBI and scored a run himself.

Pitching Highlights
Colin Pytlak recorded his fourth win of the season and is now 4-0. After throwing five innings, Pytlak tallied four strikeouts, three earned runs, and a total of six hits in the game. From there the bullpen only got more challenging as Adam Douglas recorded three innings on the bump striking out three Bombers while allowing one unearned run on two hits.

Matthew Colucci would then enter in the ninth to close out the game as he's looked to be the last pitcher opposing teams see against the Golden Eagles. In a non-save situation with a 9-4 lead over Ithaca, Colucci would strike out two batters not giving up a hit to finish the game and give Brockport its 24th win of the season
