The SUNY Brockport women's track & field team placed first with 139 points and the men's team placed second with 137 points at the University of Rochester Alumni Invitational on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will return to action on Friday and Saturday as they host the SUNYAC Conference Outdoor Championships at the friendly confines of Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium.
Brockport's
Paul Suflita won the men's 3000m steeplechase with a national caliber time of 9:12.57 which should place him among the top 25 in the nation when the outdoor qualifying list is updated. His time ranks second on Brockport's all-time outdoor list.
Sophomore
Thomas Kressly placed third and set a new personal best in the 1500 as he broke 4 minutes for the first time in his collegiate career. His time ranks seventh on Brockport's all-time outdoor list.
Marrisa Wise PR'ed in the women's 200m race and took home first place with a regional qualifying time of 25.31. Her time ranks third on Brockport's all-time outdoor list.
Veronica Dailey PR'ed and placed third in the 1500 with a time of 4:55.67 which ranks in the top 10 all-time at Brockport. Kelsey Naldrett posted a PR in the 100m hurdles and took home fourth place. Her time ranks eighth all-time in Brockport's outdoor record book.

Josh Jeziorski placed first with a regional qualifying time of 42.30.
Indoor national qualifier
Josh Jeziorski posted a solid jump of 7.21m to take home top honors in the men's long jump.
Elijah Washington remains consistent in the high 50's as he posted a first place finish of 57.57m in the men's hammer throw.
Matthew Jackson continues to gain steam as he placed second with a PR of 56.05m in the hammer.
Alayna Fredenburg won the women's javelin with a throw of 37.59m. Ellie Ramirez popped off with a big PR to take home first place in the women's hammer throw (48.59m).
Jonathan Zavala placed second in the men's 800m race with a time of 1:54.76, narrowly missing out on his personal best in the event.
Kelley Brown won the men's 200m race with a regional qualifying time of 22.23, as he just missed his personal best in the event.
Art Jordan (45.00m),
Devin Kipp (44.34m) and
John Demy (42.09m) took home third, fourth and fifth in the discus, respectively.
Alex Rood won the men's shot put with a distance of 15.42m, while
Art Jordan placed third with a distance of 14.88m.
Elijah Washington came in fourth with a throw of 14.50m.
Sarah Crockett won the women's shot put with a distance of 12.83m. Crockett added a second place finish and a personal record in the discus with a throw of 38.62m. Mia Montgomery placed second in the women's triple jump with a distance of 10.78m.
Michaela Levesque and Sarah Killip finished 1-2 in the women's high jump as they both cleared 1.60m.
