The SUNY Brockport track & field teams wrapped up day two of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference Championships on Thursday at Moravian in Bethlehem, PA. The Brockport women took home second place with a score of 61.5 and the men's team placed third with a score of 48. 56 total teams competed on the men's side, while 54 teams competed on the women's side.
The Golden Eagles currently have nine athletes ranked in the top 25 nationally heading into the NCAA selections this weekend. NCAA qualifiers will travel to the 2022 NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track & Field Championships which begin on May 26th at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
Brockport's 4x800m relay team of

Thomas Kressly and
Jonathan Zavala set a new school-record and blew away the competition with a time of 7:49.09.
Brockport had four women place in the top eight in the women's hammer throw. Alayna Fredeburg led the way with a toss of 48.66m to take home second place in the region. Ellie Ramirez placed fifth with a throw of 47.63m and Sarah Crockett placed sixth (47.63m). Emma Kinnicutt rounded out the Brockport finishers with a throw of 45.99m.
Matthew Jackson was Brockport's top finisher in the men's hammer as he posted a third place throw of 55.26m.
Elijah Washington added a sixth-place finish in the hammer with a toss of 54.44m. Both Jackson and Washington have their eyes set on the NCAA Outdoor Nationals as they are both ranked in the top 15 nationally in the event. Washington ranks fifth (59.81m) and Jackson ranks 14
th (56.64m). Senior
Art Jordan placed second in the men's shot put with a toss of 15.50m. Jordan currently ranks fourth nationally in the shot put (16.87m) and is all but a lock to head to NCAA's for the second time this year.
Brockport's Sarah Crockett placed second in the region with a throw of 12.99m in the shot put to rack up eight team points for the Golden Eagles. At the time of this release, Crockett ranks 23
rd nationally in the shot put (13.54m).
Michaela Levesque tied for second in the region and matched her outdoor personal best with a clearance of 1.60m in the high jump. Sarah Killip tied for eighth with a clearance of 1.55m.
Brockport's men's 4x100 meter relay team of
Kelly Brown,
Olivier Kothor,
Matthew Kilian and
Josh Jeziorski took home fourth place with a time of 41.76 to pick up five team points for Brockport.
Kelly Brown matched a personal best in the 100m dash finals on Thursday as he placed fourth in the region with a time of 10.77.
Brockport's
Jonathan Zavala placed fourth in the region in the 1500m race with a time of 3:53.24. Sarah Levine followed her school-record day one with a seventh-place finish in the finals of the 100m dash with a time of 12.30.
Chanyce Powell followed her school-record day one finish in the triple jump with a seventh-place finish in the long jump (5.70m). Her jump just narrowly missed out on a personal best.
Josh Jeziorski placed seventh in the men's long jump with a distance of 7.10m.
Freshman Marissa Wise capped her first regional with a seventh place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 25.33 to post two team points for Brockport.
Brockport's women's 4x800m relay team of Kaylee Haynes, Naomi Sibley, Ashley Martinez and Jennifer Metz placed eighth with a time of 9:45.93, which ranks fourth all-time at Brockport.
