Houghton, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team defeated the Houghton Highlanders 2-1 in Saturday's match. The Golden Eagles' win was their first of the season.
 
Offensive Keys: Franchesca Polcaro and 
Kiley Longin came up big for the Golden Eagles in today's win as the pair each scored a goal to help push the team past the Highlanders. Polcaro scored the first goal of the game unassisted while Longin was assisted by 
Julia Mascaro.
 
Longing was the heartbeat of the Green and Gold's offense, firing off six shots with three shots on goal while playing the entire 90-minutes of the match.
 
Team Stats: As a team, Brockport tallied 14 total shots (six on goal), compared to Houghton's four who only got one shot on goal. The Golden Eagles received three total corner kicks to Houghton's three. Other Brockport women to record shots in the game next to Longing and Polcaro were
