Brockport NY- The SUNY Brockport women's soccer program will travel to face the Houghton Highlanders on Saturday, September 10
th at 1pm at the Kerr-Pegula Athletic Complex in Houghton, NY.
Wednesday Recap: The Golden Eagles fell to the University of Rochester on Wednesday with a final score of 7-1.
Maryalice Skutnik recorded the first goal of the season for the Green and Gold with teammate
Kaleigh Pettit getting the assist.
Madeline McCrosson made her collegiate debut in the net, finishing with three saves.
Kayla Usborne was put in goal at the start of the second half, making four stops. The loss put Brockport at 0-2-1 heading into the weekend.
Looking at the Highlanders: Houghton's leading scorer is freshman Aivery Shuck, scoring two out of the six Highlanders goals this season. Sarah Potocki, Rileigh Studley, Anna Huizenga and Natalie Milne have also found the back of the net. Megan Merrifeld has recorded 270 minutes in the net this season playing three full games, for a total of 14 saves.
