Geneva, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's and women's Swimming and Diving teams both placed first the Hobart William Smith Spring Invitational. The Men earned 477 points total, and the women earned 569 points total.
The Men's 200-yard medley relay also finished first with a time of 1:48.45, swam by
Matthew Chan,
Luca Olivieri,
Joe Keeney and
Jace Frederickson.
Ryan Sampson held the 1000-yard freestyle down placing first with a time of 12:17.79.
Frederickson (1:55.39) placed first in the 200-yard freestyle followed by
Matthew Chan (2:00.90) in second,
Gavin Stone (2:02.37) in third,
Ethan Niver (2:08.78) in fourth and
Jacob Hagen (2:15.12) in fifth.
Logan Kime placed first in the 50-back with a time of 33.18, and
Garrett Nanna placed first in the 50-breast (32.25).
Oliveri placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 23.15 and in the 100-back. His 100-back time of 55.90 set a new pool record at William Smith & Hobart for the event.
Gavin stone placed first in the 100-free with a time of 58.53.
Keeney took first in the 100-breast with a time of 1:13.17.
Chan took first in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:39.75, as well as the 200-IM with a time of 2:15.36.
Nanna took first in the 50-fly with a time of 26.47.

Luca Olivieri finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:34.43.
Down in the well,
Kurt Mueller placed second on the 3-meter event with a score of 219.05, as well as the 1-meter with a score of 220.50.
The 200-yard medley relay team of Corinne Wilson, Addy Martino, Alexa Callaghan and Elizabeth Sagan placed first with a time of 1:58.42 to get the meet started.
Emily LeFrois-Heath and Esther Zadov swept the 1000-yard freestyle placing first and second. LeFrois-Heath touched the pads at 11:19.07, Zadov did a minute later at 12:44.63
Sagan placed first in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:03.53.
Vitale placed first in the 50-yard backstroke with a time of 29.43, and Addy Martino placed first in the 50-breast with a time of 33.48
Sawyer Parker placed first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 26.24 and in the 500-yard free with a time of 5:40.75.
Wilson placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 1:01.42.
Sagan placed first in the 100-back with a time of 1:06.91.
Teagan Makuch took first in the 100-breast with a time of 1:17.38.
Emma Butler took second in the 50-fly with a time of 29.43.
Qian Rappazzo touched second in the 200-IM with a time of 2:32.95.
The relay team of Corinne Wilson, Sawyer Parker, Emily LeFrois-Heath and Miya Vitale brought the win home with a first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay, touching the pads with a time of 1:46.52.
Down in the well Caroline Rossi placed first in the 1-meter diving event with a score of 189.25, as well as the 3-meter with a score of 183.15.
