Boston, MA – The SUNY Brockport Men's Ice Hockey team fell 2-5 Sunday afternoon at Warrior Ice Arena in Boston Massachusetts to Nichols College in the Championship Game of the Boston Landing Invitational.
 
Brockport struck first with a goal at 8:46 in the first. Andrew Harley sent it into the back of the net unassisted. 
 
With seven seconds left in the first Luke Harvie, from Nichols College scored, sending the men into the first intermission 1-1.
 
At 12:04 into the second Josh Grund sent a puck across the goal line, scoring Brockport's second goal of the night. Grund was assisted by teammate Jacob Rodrigue.
 
Nichols scored two more goals in the second period.
 
The third period started 2-3 Nichols, before they scored their final two goals to secure the win.
 
Nolan Egbert spent 60 minutes between the pipes, allowing five goals and making 28 saves.
 
The men will be back in New York Tuesday, January 10^th for a non conference match up against Fredonia State
