Pittsburgh, PA – On Saturday the Golden Eagle football team took on Carnegie Mellon in the ECAC Asa S. Bushnell Bowl Game. They fell to the Tartans, 37-7, to end the season at 8-3 overall.

As the home team, Carnegie Mellon got off to a strong start in the opening half. With 14 points in the first and 16 points in the second quarter, the Tartans took a big, 30-0, lead into halftime. They added seven more points to the total in the third, to go up 37-0.

Just before the third quarter came to an end, Brockport got on the board for its first score of the day. Isaiah Simmons found some space for a 16-yard rushing touchdown, his sixth of the season. He finished with 81 rushing yards on 20 carries and had three kick returns for 63 yards. Simmons finished with Brockport's lone touchdown and 153 all-purpose yards.
