Buffalo, NY – The SUNY Brockport Women's and Men's Swimming and Diving team finished day two of the SUNYAC Championship meet on Thursday. The women remain in third place with 181 points, behind Geneseo (327) and Cortland (204). The men moved into sixth place with 100 points.
On the men's side of the pool, Jace Fredericksen placed 12th in the 500-yard freestyle relay with a time of 4:56.92.

Ren Watson took sixth and seventh in the 1-meter diving event. Mueller snagged sixth with a score of 376.45. Watson earned seventh with a score of 368.70.
The team of Garrett Nanna, Joe Keeney, Jace Fredericksen and Luca Olivieri finished seventh in the men's 200-yard freestyle relay with a time of 1:30.15.
Elizabeth Sagan defended her SUNYAC Title in the 50-yard freestyle, breaking the program record for the event. Sagan touched the pads with a time of 23.59, earning herself another gold medal and an NCAA Championship B cut. The NCAA National Championship teams will be released Wednesday, February 22nd.
Sawyer Parker placed 14th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.65.
Nicole Orcutt placed fifth in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:16.97.
Miya Vitale placed 15th in the 500 with a time of 5:33.86.
Emily LeFrois-Heath earned herself a silver medal with a third place finish in the 200-yard individual medley. LeFrois-Heath touched the pads with a time of 2:10.94.
The women's team ended the meet with Coach Zach Wahl's first ever Conference Relay Title. The team of Sagan, Parker, Orcuttand LeFrois-Heath earned Gold Medals with a time of 1:37.88.
The Teams will be back at the pool for a 10am start for Day Three of the SUNYAC Conference Meet. Prelims begin at 10 am and will include the following events; Women's 400-yard IM
Men's 400-yard IM, Women's 100-yard Butterfly, Men's 100-yard Butterfly, Women's 200-yard Freestyle, Men's 200-yard Freestyle, Women's 100-yard Breaststroke, Men's 100-yard Breaststroke, Women's 100-yard Backstroke, Men's 100-yard Backstroke and the Women's 1-Meter Diving event.
