Geneseo, NY – The Golden Eagle track and field team was back at Geneseo on Monday for the second and final day of the Geneseo Early Season Invitational to begin the outdoor season.
Aaron Ottenwalder won the 100-meter dash with his mark of 10.94. Teammate
Howard Nix ran a 11.14 to take third place.
Sarah Levine took seventh in the women's 100-meter dash with a time of 12.55. Levine also ran a 59.65 to earn fourth in the 400-meter.
Michael Durski placed first in the men's 400-meter race with his time of 49.74. Ottenwalder finished at 50.33 in the event for fourth place.
Sarah Crockett earned second place with a 13.99 in the shot put.
Matthew Jackson also took second for the Green and Gold in the hammer throw with a 53.80.
Tess Eichner cleared 3.35 to take second in the pole vault. Ciara Murphy placed sixth with her mark of 2.85. Michaela Levesque (1.57m) and Sarah Killip (1.57m) both earned top-five spots in the high jump.
Mia Montgomery hit a distance of 5.00 in the long jump for seventh place.
Howard Nix took second on the men's side with a 6.76.
Hunter Zangerle recorded a 6.66 for fourth place.
Dustin Meyer (4.90), Paul Dunbar (4.45), and Chris Weiner (4.30) took first-second-third in the men's pole vault.
The Golden Eagles are back in action this weekend when they compete over at RIT on Saturday, April 8
th at 10 am.
