Rochester, NY – The SUNY Brockport track and field team competed at RIT on Saturday for the second meet of the outdoor season.
 
With a distance of 36.36 meters in the women's javelin, Rebecca Heuler took first place on the day. Jason Marincic placed fourth in the javelin with a toss of 43.57 meters.
 
Alex Rood took second with a 14.73 in the shot, while Marincic was fourth with his 13.51. Sarah Crockett won on the women's side with her 12.83.
 
Howard Nix took the top spot in the long jump with a distance of 6.65 meters. Mia Montgomery shined on the women's side with her 5.11 to take third place.
 
In the high jump Michaela Levesque (1.63m) and Sarah Killip (1.60m) took first and second. Dillion Murphy placed seventh on the men's side with a distance of 1.71 meters.
 
In the discus Matthew Muscolo took third with a 41.44. Alex Irving's triple jump of 13.64 was good for third as well.
 
Veronica Dailey clocked in at 12:01.68 for third place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase. Paul Suflita (9:32.04), Thomas Kressly (9:40.81), and Dillon VanDemortel (9:41.42) took first, fourth, and fifth in the men's steeplechase.
 
Jonathan Zavala and Sean Killip both ran top five times in the 1,500 meter. Zavala clocked in at 3:57.19 for third and Killip placed fifth with a 4:01.77.
 
Marissa Wise posted a fifth-place time of 1:01.94 in the 400-meter. On the men's side of the action, Michael Durski clocked in at 49.91 for fifth place as well.
 
In the women's 100-meter dash, Sarah Levine took second with a 12.88. Kevin Fischer's time of 1:56.22 was good for sixth place in the 800-meter run.
 
Clara Sensini placed third with a time of 1:07.45 in the 400-meter hurdles. Ayden Grinion's time of 58.28 earned him fourth in the men's 400-hurdles.
 
Sarah Levine came back and took third with a 26.19 in the 200-meter dash. Aaron Ottenwalder followed suit with a time of 22.52 in the men's 200-meter.
 
The Golden Eagles are on their home track next weekend for the Brockport Outdoor Multi. The first day begins at 3pm on April 14^th with the last day set for a 10am start on the 15^th.
