Chester, PA – The SUNY Brockport track and field team had runners travel down to Widener University's Final Qualifier meet.
Jonathan Zavala hit a new personal and school record with his 1500m time of 3:48.17.
Thomas Kressly clocked in at 3:51.63 to also notch a new personal-best for the event.
Dillon VanDemortel followed suit with a PR of 3:59.47.
Brockport had three compete in the men's 800m event.
Kevin Fischer ran a 1:58.67,
Sean Killip clocked in at 1:59.77, and
Lukas Walters finished in 2:03.80.
Veronica Dailey had a top 20 time with a 4:50.17 in the women's 1500m for a personal record. With a 4:54.53, Mia Vizcaino took 21
st and Kerry Flower placed 23
rd with a 4:58.35 in the race.
Paul Suflita hit a new personal best time of 14:37.97 in the men's 5000m, which sets a school record for the event.
Jared Smith ran a 16:57.26 in the race on the day.
Monday's meet was the last chance for the Golden Eagles to qualify for the AARTFC Championships. The regional meet is this week, scheduled for May 17
th and 18
th hosted by Susquehanna.
