Selinsgrove, PA – The All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships concluded on Thursday, May 18
th. The SUNY Brockport women's team finished third with 46.5 points, while the men's squad placed ninth with 32 points.

Thomas Kressly, and
Jonathan Zavala were crowned the regional champions in the men's 4x800m relay event on the day. The crew took 10 points with a first-place finish, setting a school record time of 7:47.77.
Brockport snagged 7.5 points in the women's high jump. Sarah Killip cleared 1.60m to take third place in the event. Teammate Michaela Levesque hit 1.55m to tie for seventh place.
Sarah Crockett's distance of 13.27m was good for fourth place in the women's shot put competition.
Thomas Kressly ran a 3:54.75 in the men's 1500m race to finish fifth, scoring four points for the Golden Eagles.
In the women's hammer throw, Emma Kinnicutt placed eighth for one point thanks to a 48.66m throw.
With the AARTFC Championships completed, Brockport's athletes now await results from around the country in hopes of qualifying for nationals. Following the weekend, the selections for the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships will be announced.
Those who have qualified will be cleared to compete at the national meet. Nationals are scheduled for May 26-28
th at the nearby Polisseni Track & Field Complex at St. John Fisher.
