Brockport, NY – On Saturday, the SUNY Brockport men's soccer team hosted the Ithaca College Bombers for a non-conference tilt. The match ended in a 0-0 draw, moving Brockport to 2-2-2 and Ithaca to 2-0-2.
The Golden Eagles outshot their opponents, 7-2, in the first half.
Max Voyer fired a shot on frame that required saving early in the game. Ithaca's lone shot on goal in the first half was turned away by
Andrew Taylor.
The teams would create more opportunities in the second half, but still did not find the back of the net. Brockport was awarded 10 corner kicks in the half and fired another seven shots.

Jayden Green each put one on net, but the Ithaca goalie was up to the task.
Andrew Taylor made two more saves in the second half, after the Bombers took five shots in the second. He finished with three stops in net to help secure the 0-0 tie.
Next week the Golden Eagles will be back home for the start of SUNYAC play. They welcome Buffalo State on Wednesday, September 20
th for a 4pm matchup.
