Oswego, NY – The Golden Eagle men's soccer team earned a 3-2 win on the road against Oswego in a SUNYAC battle. Brockport is now 4-3-2 overall and 2-0-1 in conference play.
Giovanni Cardona put the Green and Gold on the board first with his first goal of the season. Just 9:12 into the match, Cardona's unassisted score gave the squad a 1-0 lead. Oswego answered back shortly after, tying the score up at 1-1 in the 16
th minute.
The Golden Eagles continued to put the pressure on Oswego's backline, outshooting the Lakers in the first half, 11-4. They made good on another opportunity just before halftime to secure a 2-1 lead at the break.
At 38:57 in the half,
Russ Domm netted an unassisted score to break the tie. Domm collects his third goal of the year, which leads the team.
Andrew Taylor came up with one stop in net to help create the 1-goal advantage after 45 minutes of play.
For most of the second half, Brockport remained in the lead, 2-1. It wasn't until the 84
th minute when the squad would add to it.

Brady Reinagel, would make it a 3-1 lead with his fourth goal of the year.
Oswego found one more goal in the final two minutes of regulation, cutting the deficit to 3-2. However, the Lakers would run out of time on their home field as Brockport pulled out the win.
The Golden Eagles are on the road again this weekend for another SUNYAC matchup. They take on Oneonta at 1pm on Saturday, September 30
th.
