Pittsford, NY – The SUNY Brockport men's soccer team remains undefeated after a 3-2 win over St. John Fisher on the road. The Golden Eagles are now 2-0-1 on the season so far.
Sean Lee,
Russ Domm, and
Evan Stevely all found the back of the net in the match for Brockport. On the other end of the field,
Andrew Taylor picked up his second win of the season after making a pair of saves on the night.
In what was a quiet first half on the scoreboard, the Golden Eagles would make some noise before halftime. Freshman
Sean Lee would score his first career collegiate goal at the 40:10 mark. A little more than a minute later,
Russ Domm beat the Fisher goalie for his first of the season.
The pair of unassisted goals by Lee and Domm put Brockport up 2-0 going into halftime. At the break, the Green and Gold had outshot the Cardinals, 10-2, and had the advantage on corners, 4-1.
Early in the second half St. John Fisher would get on the board to prevent the clean sheet. Jacob McGinnis scored just 2:30 into the half, making it a 2-1 game. In the 61

Evan Stevely was able to score his first goal since joining Brockport to put the team up 3-1.
The Cardinals would also score again at the 85:00 mark, thanks to Joey Avallone, but they ran out of time to tie the game up. Brockport held onto its 1-goal lead for the final five minutes of play to secure the 3-2 victory on the road.
The Golden Eagles aim to stay undefeated with road games coming up this weekend. They take on Messiah at 7pm on Friday before a 7pm matchup with Gettysburg on Saturday.
