Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team defeated the Keuka Wolves, 3-0, on Thursday afternoon in Brockport. The Golden Eagles have recorded three straight shutouts and are the winners of three in a row to improve to 3-1 on the season.

Megan Gerber opened the first half with a quick goal just 6:36 into the game. She was assisted by freshman Amelia Breton on the score, which put Brockport up 1-0. Soon after the goal, lightning was spotted in the area, causing a delay in the action.

After a teammate's shot was saved, Kanbur was there for the rebound for the second Brockport goal of the day. The Golden Eagles entered halftime with a 2-0 lead over the visiting Wolves.

After the 10-minute, halftime intermission the women returned to the field for the second half. The teams went scoreless through most of the second half, until the final three minutes of regulation. Franchesca Polcaro snuck the ball past the goal keeper into the bottom right corner, assisted by Jaylah Cossin, at the 87:49 mark. Polcaro's goal secured the 3-0 final for the victory at home.
