Brockport, NY - The Brockport Ice Hockey team will host #2 Geneseo at the Wegmans Ice Arena on Friday, January 19^th at 7 p.m.
 
Willie Bee Foundation Jersey Auction: Time is running out to bid on special edition, game-worn Willie Bee jerseys. The game-worn jerseys are available for purchase via silent auction until Friday, January 19^th at midnight (EASTERN).   

Rookie of the Week: On Monday, the SUNYAC announced that Connor Roach was chosen as the SUNYAC Men's Hockey Rookie of the Week. Roach was a large part of the 5-1 win Brockport had over Fredonia this week. Roach recorded two goals and eight shots in the game and ended the night +2.

Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles rolled past Fredonia, 5-1, on Willie Bee Foundation Jersey Night last Tuesday, January 9^th. Brockport improved to 6-9-2 on the season following the win.
 
Scott Ramaekers got the Golden Eagles up on the board first, with assists from Jacob Gates and Connor Galloway.
 
Galloway would lead the contest in points (3), burying a feed from Dominic Chirico in the second period and adding two assists.       
 
Freshman Connor Roach provided his first multi-goal game as a Golden Eagle, scoring two goals including an empty netter to give Brockport a 5-1 win.
 
Matt Anastasio added a goal in the third period to extend the Brockport advantage, with assists coming from Ramaekers and Galloway.
 
Jordan Rosenbaum was active throughout, giving up the body to block 4 Fredonia shots.
 
David Filak went the distance between the pipes for Brockport, saving 31 shots while allowing just one goal.
 
Heating Up: Sophomore Matt Anastasio has begun to find a groove as of late for the Golden Eagles. Anastasio has recorded a goal or better in 5 of his last 7 games, with 3 of his goals coming on the power play. His 3 power-play goals are good for 7^th best in the SUNYAC.  
 
SUNYAC Standout: Connor Galloway has put together a strong start to his senior season thus far for the Green and Gold. Leading Brockport with 16 points, Galloway ranks among the SUNYAC's finest in points (8^th), assists (12, 3^rd), and game-winning goals (2, T-5^th).   
 
Scouting Geneseo: The Knights are currently ranked #4 in the country in the latest USCHO D3 Men's Hockey rankings, holding the best winning percentage in the country (14-2, 0.875). Geneseo is in the midst of a 7-game winning streak, most recently rolling past SUNY Canton on the road, 4-1. The Knights utilize a balanced scoring attack with 9 players recording 10 points or more on the season, led by junior Peter Morgan (18 points).
