Brockport, NY - The Brockport women's basketball team will head to Geneseo to battle the Knights on Saturday, January 20^th at 2 p.m.
 
Last Time Out: The Golden Eagles defeated Fredonia at home, 78-71, on Tuesday. Brockport improved to 8-7 overall and 4-4 in SUNYAC play.
 
Zairea Hannah got going late to lead the Golden Eagles in scoring. She dropped 16 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, scoring 14 of her points in the fourth quarter.
 
Mandy Brink put together her best performance as a Golden Eagle, posting a career-high 16 points and adding three rebounds.
 
Kelsey Morgans made winning plays throughout, making both of her shot attempts for five points. Morgans added five rebounds, and delivered great hustle plays for Brockport.
 
Zoe Zutes put together another solid performance, finishing with 10 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a block.
 
Anna Lee rounded out the double-digit scorers for Brockport, scoring 12 points on 50% shooting (5-10 FG).
 
Walking Double-Double: Zairea Hannah has shown up in a big way for the Golden Eagles as of late. Hannah has posted a double-double in back-to-back games, good for her 4^th and 5^th of the season. She has been a beast on the boards, grabbing 14 rebounds or more in each of her last seven outings. In 40 career games for Brockport, Hannah has recorded 13 double-doubles.

SUNYAC Standouts: 15 games in, several Golden Eagles rank among the conference's finest in several statistical categories.

Scouting Geneseo: The Knights have ripped off a 5-game winning streak after a middling 6-4 start to the season. They are currently sitting at 11-4 with a 6-2 record in SUNYAC contests. Kiley Snow (12.5 ppg) and Kerry Dennin (11.7 ppg) lead the scoring charge for Geneseo, with Dennin also leading the team in rebounding (9 per game). The Golden Eagles will enter Saturday's game looking to secure their first win against Geneeo since the 2019-20 season.
