Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's soccer team will host a pair of Empire 8 matchups, beginning with Houghton on Wednesday, October 2
nd at 7 p.m. before taking on SUNY Poly on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Last Outing: The Golden Eagles took down Hartwick on the road, 1-0, on Saturday, September 28
th. Brockport improved to 3-4-1 overall, with a 2-1 record in E8 play.

Max Voyer connected at the 62:46 mark for the game-winning goal, his second goal of the season.

Andrew Taylor was on point throughout, making five saves in a shutout effort.

Finding a Groove: Following a 4-game losing skid, the Golden Eagles have bounced back in a big way. In back-to-back road conference games, Brockport improved their conference mark to 2-1 following a 3-1 win over Keuka, and last Saturday's 1-0 win over Hartwick.

Scouting Houghton: The Highlanders sit at 2-5-1 overall with a 0-1-1 mark in Empire 8 play, currently in the midst of a 4-game winless streak. Brockport has dominated the head-to-head series, winning five of the last six head-to-head matchups since 2017.

Scouting SUNY Poly: The Wildcats have jumped out to a strong 6-2 start, posting a 1-1 record in Empire 8 contests. Senior Jhonny Theze leads the charge for SUNY Poly, scoring a team-high six goals for 12 points on the year. Â
