Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport women's soccer team will travel to Geneseo on Wednesday, October 30th to face the Geneseo Knights at 4pm for the last regular season conference game before the first round of the Empire 8 Championships. A win for Brockport would clinch the No. 1 seed for the postseason and the E8 Regular Season Championship.
Last Weekend – On Saturday, October 26th, the Golden Eagles hosted the Utica Pioneers for senior day clinching the 2-0 win where they earned their 13th shutout of the 2024 season. This brought the team to 13-1-1 overall and 9-1 in the conference.
Diane Lange found the back of the net with an unassisted goal at 11:56 to put Brockport up 1-0 early on in the first period. Going into halftime, the team put up a total of six shots compared to Utica's one.
Coming back after the break, the Green and Gold were awarded a penalty shot taken by
Diane Lange. Lange made the shot past the goalkeeper and earned her second goal of the day and the team up 2-0.

Caitlin Nelson all contributed to Brockport's total of 15 shots in the game with seven on goal.
A Look at Geneseo – The Knights currently sit at 10-3-3 on the 2024 season and 8-0-2 in conference play. The team finished up last season at 7-3-8 overall and 2-1-6 in the E8 Conference.
Regional Ranking - For the second week in a row, the Brockport women's soccer team has earned a spot in the United Soccer Coaches DIII Region III Poll. The Golden Eagles have come in at eighth in the regional rankings in each of the last two polls.
Up Next – The Golden Eagles have since clinched a home game for the first round of the E8 Championships which is set to be played on Saturday, November 2nd. The time and opponent are yet to be determined.
