Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's soccer team fought to a 2-2 draw at home against SUNY Poly on Saturday, October 5
th. The Golden Eagles moved to 4-4-2 overall and 3-1-1 in Empire 8 play following the draw.

Max Voyer kick started the Brockport offense early, finishing a
Peter Tinaj feed to put the Golden Eagles up 1-0.

Despite taking a 1-0 lead into halftime, the Wildcats owned the shots battle 9-4 in the opening half.

Trevor Lagarde would double the ledger for Brockport at the 57:21 mark, giving Brockport a 2-0 lead thanks to an assist from
Brady Reinagel.

SUNY Poly would control the remainder of the contest, scoring back-to-back goals in just over four minutes. Thomas Nimineh would connect off a free kick at the 74:02 mark before Jael Casimir would find the back of the net with less than 12 minutes remaining.

The Golden Eagles were unable to answer, with both teams coming away with a 2-2 draw.

SUNY Poly would win the shots battle, outshooting Brockport 17 to 9 (9-4 SOG) across 90 minutes.

Dylan Lopez would finish the final 53:33 of the contest, making four saves and allowing two goals.

Alex Rivara served as the lone Golden Eagle to play all 90 minutes of the contest.
