Brockport, NY—The No. 5 seeded Brockport men's soccer team will travel to Utica, NY, to take on No. 4 seeded SUNY Poly in the Empire 8 Tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday, November 2
nd. The first round postseason match is scheduled for a 2pm start.
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles and Geneseo Knights fought to a 0-0 draw on Wednesday, October 30
th. Brockport finished the regular season 6-6-4 overall with a 5-3-3 mark in conference play.
Russ Domm would lead all players with five shots and two shots on goal.
Andrew Taylor posted a shutout between the pipes, saving two shots on the day.

Khadim Amar all went the distance for Brockport, playing all 90 minutes.
Return to the Postseason: Under head coach
Gary LaPietra, the Golden Eagles have reached the conference postseason in five of the last six seasons. The Golden Eagles will enter the Empire 8 Tournament looking for their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2018.
Top of His Class: Finishing the regular season as Brockport's top goal scorer,
Russ Domm ranks within the Empire 8's top shooting threats. Domm ranks fifth in the E8 in shots (35) and shots on goal (22), as well as tied for eighth in goals (5).
Scouting SUNY Poly: The Wildcats earned the No. 4 seed with a 10-3-4 overall record and a 5-2-4 record in E8 play. Brockport hosted SUNY Poly back on October 5
th; the Golden Eagles would surrender a 2-0 lead and the game finished in a 2-2 draw. The Wildcats will enter the postseason as one of the Empire 8's hottest teams, going 4-0-2 in their last six games. SUNY Poly has outscored its opponents 14-0 in the last six games.
