Brockport, NY- The Brockport women's basketball team will host Buffalo State in home opener action on Wednesday, November 13
th at 6 p.m.

Last Outing: Brockport dropped their second game of the Winking Lizard Tip-off Tournament against John Carroll, 92-65, on Saturday, November 9
th. The Golden Eagles moved to 1-1 following the loss.

Harmony Philo made the most of her 17 minutes of action, draining five three-pointers for 15 points and two rebounds.

Stephanie Jean-Baptiste led Brockport in scoring with 16 points, adding six rebounds, a block, and a steal.

Peyton Maneri rounded out Brockport's double-digit scorers, scoring 10 points on effective 5-9 shooting from the floor.

Impact Debut: In her first game as a Golden Eagle,
Kaileigh Hunt performed excellently against Alma College. Playing 29 minutes, Hunt dropped a game-high 28 points on effective 11-15 shooting, adding five rebounds and two steals.

E8 AOTW: Following a strong weekend in Ohio, Â
Stephanie Jean-Baptiste was named Co-Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Against Alma College to open the season, SJB scored 26 points with six rebounds, three assists, and a block. On the defensive end, Jean-Baptiste etched her name into the program record books with nine steals, tied for the third most in a single game. In her first two games of the season, Jean-Baptiste averaged 21 points, six rebounds, five steals, and a block in an all-around effort for the Green and Gold.

Scouting Buffalo State: The Bengals will look to improve from a 4-21 record in 2023-24, posting a 1-17 record in SUNYAC play. Brockport will look to extend its winning streak in the head-to-head series to six straight games.
