Brockport, NY – The Women's Soccer team is set to travel down to the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA on Saturday, November 16th to face the Wesleyan University Cardinals for the first round of the NCAA Division III Championships. The Golden Eagles finished out the regular and post season at 15-1-2 overall and 10-1 in the conference.
On Monday, November 11th, the team earned their at-large bid into the NCAA Championships. This is the second time the Green and Gold has earned their spot into the NCAA Tournament, the first time being back in 2006 after winning the SUNYAC Conference Championship and earning an automatic bid. The team earned their spot after a record-breaking season of 16 shutouts. They are currently 40th in the country, and fourth nationally in goals against average.
Last Time Out – On Wednesday, November 6th, the team competed in the E8 Semi-Finals where Nazareth took home the victory in a 7-6 PK Shootout after an OT score of 0-0.
Both teams fought hard in the first and second half having multiple scoring chances.
Madeline McCrosson made three saves for the Golden Eagles while Nazareth's Annika Monfort made five for the Golden Flyers throughout the game.

Scouting Wesleyan University – The Weslyan Cardinals have gone undefeated in the conference with a record of 7-0-3 and have entered the NESCAC Championship after claiming the top seed for the first time in program history. The team sits at 13-1-3 overall on the 2024 season and are currently ranked 19th in the country. The team saw six players earn All-NESCAC selections going on to snag Coaching Staff of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year.
A win on Saturday will matchup the Golden Eagles with the winners of the Marywood University and the University of Scranton matchup that will also be held on Saturday at 1pm.
