Brockport, NY - The Brockport men's basketball team will look to close out regular season play on a high note, hosting Geneseo for Senior Day action on Saturday, February 17
th at 4 p.m.
Senior Day: Before the start of the contest, a short ceremony will be held for senior
Tyler Cowie. In his 3 seasons with the Green and Gold Cowie has logged 628 total minutes with 195 points. His best all-around outing came against York College in 2022, dropping 11 points with 10 rebounds and two steals.
Last Time Out: Brockport dropped a hard-fought matchup with #6 Oswego State, 69-61, on Saturday, February 10
th. Brockport moved to 15-8 overall and 11-6 in conference play following the loss.
Tony Arnold finished with 18 points, six boards, two assists, and one steal in the contest to lead Brockport in scoring.
Zachary Rice chipped in with 13 points off the bench, while
Caquan Wester registered 10 points, seven rebounds, and two blocks.
SUNYAC Standings: With one game remaining, Brockport can effectively lock up the #3 seed in the SUNYAC tournament with a win over Geneseo. New Paltz losses to Plattsburgh and Potsdam would move the Golden Eagles up to the #2 seed with a win.

Scouting Geneseo: Geneseo will enter the weekend a half-game back of the 6
th and final seed in the SUNYAC tournament, currently sitting at 12-12 overall with a 9-8 record in SUNYAC play. The Knights are led offensively by Cole Kattan, averaging 15 points per game which is good for 4
th best in the conference. The Golden Eagles scored a 71-55 win at Geneseo back in January and have won 4 of the last 6 meetings.
