Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's soccer team grinded out a 1-0 win on the road against Hartwick on Saturday. September 28
th. The Golden Eagles moved to 3-4-1 overall and 2-1 in Empire 8 play following the win.

The opening half brought a defensive stalemate, with both teams recording just one shot on goal. Hartwick held a slight 4-3 shot advantage at the break.

Brockport would flip the script in the second half, outshooting Hartwick 9-6 with five shots on goal.

At the 62:46 mark on the contest,
Max Voyer would break the scoreless tie with his second goal of the season, putting Brockport ahead 1-0.

In the final 12 minutes, the Hawks would find a flurry of scoring chances. However, all three were stopped by Brockport's goalie
Andrew Taylor.

The Golden Eagles defense came up big in the final minutes, denying two Hartwick corner-kick opportunities to secure the 1-0 victory.

Andrew Taylor was on point throughout, making five saves in a shutout effort.

Russ Domm led all players with five shots, recording three shots on goal.
